Governance is very important to the successful life of any church. We believe the Bible teaches that proper authority structure leads to life and freedom and its success is based on genuine relationships that foster trust and accountability.
We are very committed to team ministry and believe strength for any church comes from without and from within. Internally our Pastor is responsible for the daily needs of Liberty and its overall spiritual direction. However our Pastor does not operate alone. He leads a group of Elders that are committed to him and to the congregation. Their relationship with each other is vital. Our people pray for them and together they seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to promote love, encouragement, and direction for the life of Liberty.
Externally we are blessed to have an Oversight Council that is committed to help our leadership team and congregation during times of Pastoral transition and need.
We are also blessed to have mature, loving, faithful men and women who serve the congregation of Liberty. Our Deacon Board, comprised of men and women, provide care for the physical needs of the church and support for any members requiring care due to sickness or loss. Our Finance Council has done an outstanding job managing the monies for LCF and we are debt free.
We also call upon our Heads of Ministry (children, youth, nursery, men’s, women’s, worship) from time to time for advice and counsel.
